The Global Entanglement Response Network will meet at the Center for Coastal Studies, Provincetown to review the current curriculum, consider new developments and review experiences. The workshop will also discuss how best to determine the origin of fishing gear and other entanglements in order to develop an understanding of which items pose the greatest hazard, where they originate and how far they have travelled. A third important objective is how best to gather and sort data, and consider whether and how a global database might be developed.
