IWC Intersessional Report 2018-22

The IWC report for the Intersessional period 2018-22 is available now.  Intersessional reports are circulated approximately one month before each full meeting of the Commission.  They aim to provide both a summary of the work undertaken by the Commission in the period between meetings, and a general introduction for anyone wishing to learn about the organisation.

The intersessional period is usually approximately two years but postponements due to the Covid-19 pandemic led to an unprecedented four year period.  It is not possible to include every project in which the IWC has been involved, but it is nevertheless a useful snapshot and a showcase for the progress made despite the challenges of the pandemic.
