The 2021 meeting of the IWC Scientific Committee will be held in Bled, Slovenia
The IWC is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Lead for Programme Development to direct the development and implementation of IWC Work Programmes. The post-holder will lead a team and work across a range of cetacean scientific, conservation and welfare topic areas (for example underwater noise, whale watching, ship strikes, and marine debris) and lead key Commission work plans and projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join the IWC Secretariat and advance these programs in a challenging intergovernmental environment. This post is a full-time permanent position (37.5 hours per week) subject to an initial six-month probationary period.
