The Scientific Committee of the IWC has produced a new, succinct and non-technical summary of its work over the last two years.

Available in three languages and including downloadable graphics, the summary covers topics ranging from population assessments and ecosystem services to cetacean bycatch and strandings. The summary sits alongside the comprehensive Scientific Committee Report and will help readers to navigate the longer document and locate topics of interest via a series of links. The summary will be presented to the Commission in September 2024 and then available here.
